All students will prepare for the competition by choosing and
rehearsing for at least two of the categories. I will choose the best performances
based on grade and work ethic to go to competition. This is a very exciting and
rewarding experience, and I hope all of you will do your best on these assignments.
The following are the categories you may choose from. I will outline the
requirements for each event and assist you in choosing a piece appropriate for this.
